Stafford Club Lacrosse
Youth Spring Club Lacrosse is available only to middle school boys in grades 7th thru 8th grade. Boys in 9th grade are eligible to play if they are age 14 prior to 30 June and do NOT play high school lacrosse.
Players will be assigned to teams based upon the high school they will be attending or the geographic area in which they live. By organizing the teams based upon the high school a player will be attending, the players will not only develop individual lacrosse skills but they will also learn and develop their future high school lacrosse teams plays and drills. Club Lacrosse teams will have high school lacrosse coaches assisting in practices, drills and games. All club games will be played at various fields within Stafford County.
Each team will play eight lacrosse games. There will be two or three practices a week and practices will be held at the various high schools within Stafford County. Practice times will vary with some coaches practicing as early as 4:30 pm while some will practice from 6-8 pm. Club Spring Ball practices may begin as early as March 15th and the season will end the first or second weekend of June, depending on playoffs.
Club registration fee is $130. This cost covers the cost for fields, referees, and game equipment. Each player will receive a team pinney.
Each team will consist of 15 to 22 players. Players must have their own equipment (Helmet/Shoulder Pads/LAX Gloves & Arm Pads/Lax Stick/Cleats/Mouth Guard).
